PEEK bar has four characteristics:

1. The shrinkage of PEEK plastic raw materials in injection molding is small, which is very beneficial to controlling the dimensional tolerance range of PEEK injection molded parts, making the dimensional accuracy of PEEK parts much higher than that of general plastics;

2. The coefficient of thermal expansion is small. With the change of temperature (which can be caused by the change of ambient temperature or friction heat generated during operation), the size change of parts is small;

3. Good dimensional stability. The dimensional stability of plastics refers to the dimensional stability of engineering plastic products during use or storage, because the chain segments are curled to some extent after the activation energy of polymer molecules is increased;

4. PEEK has outstanding heat-resistant hydrolysis characteristics, and its water absorption is very low under high temperature and high humidity environment. It will not change the size of general plastics like nylon due to water absorption;
